Rames is a Product Specialist at Amundi Alpha Associates, focusing on closed-end and open-ended strategies across private equity, private debt and infrastructure. He works closely with investment and client teams on product development, fund structuring and client solutions across private markets.

Rames has extensive experience across the private markets value chain, including due diligence, strategy design, fund launches and client proposals spanning primary, secondary and co-investment strategies.

He returned to Amundi Alpha Associates after serving as an Executive Director at Bank Julius Baer in Zurich, where he was responsible for the bank’s global private markets feeder fund offering. Earlier in his career, he was an Investment Associate at Astorius Capital, focusing on European private equity fund investments.

Attraktive, risikobereinigte Marktrenditen zu erzielen und Nutzen für die Gesellschaft und die Umwelt zu schaffen galt lange Zeit als unvereinbar. Man war entweder ein philanthropischer Investor, der Impact über finanzielle Erträge stellte, oder ein „traditioneller” Investor, der risikobereinigte Marktrenditen anstrebte, und das mit oder ohne ESG-Erwägungen. Was wäre aber, wenn ein Investor beide Ziele erreichen könnte? Dies sollte das Ethos von Impact Investing sein: „Doing well, whilst doing good“.
