Private Markets Specialist
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Private Markets Specialist to join our team in Paris. The role will be involved in all aspects of investment management, with a particular focus on presenting to and communicating with our French institutional clients. The role will involve conducting due diligence, evaluation, and selection of fund investments and co-investments, engaging in the qualitative and quantitative assessment of investment opportunities, and managing and monitoring fund investments and direct co-investments.
Furthermore, the ideal candidate can expect to perform market research and producing presentations for meetings and update calls with our French institutional clients, including presenting and discussing target portfolio allocation, investment pipeline, and portfolio performance.
The role will act as a point of contact within the Investment Team for our French institutional clients and coordinate answers to portfolio questions as well as feedback on all requests concerning our French client mandates, while interacting with various internal teams, including Finance, Legal, and ESG.
Requirements
- You must hold a master's degree in finance, economics, or a related subject
- You have at least five years of relevant experience in the field of private markets, ideally in private equity multi-manager investing
- You are a team player but at the same time efficient and diligence in performing your tasks independently
- You learn fast and like to work in a dynamic environment where multi-tasking is key
- You are fluent in English and French (spoken and written)
