Guy Myint-Maung

Guy is a member of the Alpha Associates Private Equity investment team and Investment Committee. He has been active in private market investing since 2000 and specialises in buyout and venture investments, including in life sciences and medical technology. He is responsible for the due diligence, negotiation, execution and management of fund and direct investments with a geographic focus on the U.S. and the Emerging Markets. Guy joined Alpha Associates in 2004 and prior to the team’s spin-out from Swiss Life Private Equity Partners (SLPEP) was investment manager at SLPEP since 2000. His previous assignment was with Centre Solutions Zurich, an Alternative Risk Transfer specialist and a subsidiary of Zurich Financial Services. Prior to this, Guy spent four years at UBS in Switzerland, predominantly in business analysis and controlling functions, first at the European operations level, and later at the global level for the corporate banking and corporate finance divisions. Guy holds a B.Sc. in Biological Sciences from the University of Sussex, an MBA from Manchester Business School and is a CFA charterholder.
