Stephan Heitz

Stephan started his career in 1989 as account manager at Swiss Bank Corporation (now UBS). In 1993, he joined ABN AMRO Bank for which he worked in Switzerland, The Netherlands and London, lastly as member of the executive committee of the Zurich branch. From 2001 until 2008, Stephan was CEO of Swiss Life Asset Management. He then joined Axa Investment Managers where he was a member of the Global Executive Committee and Head of Continental Europe and the Nordics region. In 2018, he joined Lazard Asset Management where he served until March 2024 as Head of Lazard Fund Managers, a distribution JV between Lazard Frères Gestion and Lazard AM. Stephan graduated as lic.re.pol. from the University of Fribourg.
